Silhouette Club-Class Schedule 2018 Both stores taught by Mary Beth Henry
- Class 3 (March 20 Huntsville, 22 Decatur) – Technique: Cutting fabric for applique designs and creating an offset. Optional Project: Create an applique embroidery design or an applique HTV design on a shirt or towel (see pictures) Bring your laptop, external mouse, power cord, Silhouette cutter and tools;
The design for our March Silhouette Class will be 3 hot air balloons. We will start with a PES embroidery applique design. We will cut the balloons out of fabric for an embroidered applique.
AND We will cut the balloons out of vinyl for a heat press design. Students should bring HTV (heat press vinyl) scraps and fabric scraps. Students may bring something to embroider on, or something to heat press on. Students may bring their embroidery machine or take their samples home.
- Class 4 (April 17 Huntsville, 19 Day) – Technique: Working with HTV and acrylics; revisiting importing fonts into the Silhouette Library. Optional Project: Cuff bracelet with initials, circle monogram, or a design (see pictures)
- Class 5 (May 15 Huntsville, 17 Decatur) – Technique: Glass etching using adhesive vinyl and etching cream. Optional Project: Small mirror with etched design (see pictures)
- Class 6 (June 19 Huntsville, 21 Decatur) – Technique: Create a template for a rhinestone design. Optional Project: Heat press rhinestones on a shirt or tote bag (see pictures)

I have attended the Silhouette Club for awhile now and have learned so much. Look forward to the class in March. I know I won’t be disappointed. Thank you S & R for having it.
